His Holy Grace

Dark shadows were cast on a moonlit wall.
Dead soldiers strayed from a witch's squall.
Black cats ran into the darkest of night while
hope stood still in the pale moonlight.

Fear ran deep,
like a river black.
The pure of heart were hidden in a
sack.
Honesty left town,
it slipped through a crack.
Reason ran and won’t be back!
All because the world took a turn
and made far too many bridges to burn.
The world was taken as if we slept,
while slowly in the devil crept.

“So, take my advice and listen to me,
and these words I have written will
never be-
Love God,
the Bible and His holy grace.
And these things you have read will never take place."
